From: Bozeman Task Force to Advance the Status and Safety od All Women and Girls
Thank you for running for public office. The Bozeman Task Force is a group of people that formed to encourage our community to better understand the challenges confronting Women and Girls, especially from marginalized communities, and to act on that deeper understanding.
This is the third Candidate Forum and Voter Guide that we have organized.
For the Voter Guide we have attached seven questions. Please answer each of the Questions posed. Our experience is that voters are likely to stop reading after about 100 words, so there is a 100 word limit per answer. After receipt of your Answers, we will put all of the Questions and Candidate Answers into a format that will allow a comparison of the answers. We will then, by October 14, e-mail the Questions and Answers to our list of about 1,500 Bozemanites and to other local organizations that will also e-mail the information to their constituents.
There are two other attachments. The 2019 Report from our initial group demonstrates information gaps regarding women, girls, and marginalized groups in our community. Parts of this document relate to Question 6 (See Page 6 of the Report). The Proposed Resolution pertains to Question 7.
